In September anyone and everyone is invited to bid on items donated by local businesses.
Here’s how it works: Beginning September 1st, 2007 and ending September 20, 2007 at 7:00pm, you can visit our online silent auction website at: http://www.worldliveauctions.com/ and bid on any item(s) you wish.
All proceeds will be donated through First Baptist Church of Collinsville to:
“The Mark Dixon Benefit Fund”

How to participate in the Online Auction:
1) When Live Auction Webcasts are scheduled, the Auction will be listed below under the "Live Auction" heading
2) First Time Visitors must get a User ID and Password by selecting the First Time Visitors Link on any page. You may use your User ID and Password to Register for any Live Webcast Auction.
3) Live Webcast bidding requires separate registration for each auction. Enter the Auction by clicking the Auction description under the "live auctions" title below. You may register to bid by clicking the "Register for this auction" link located in the left margin and entering your User ID and Password.
4) Your absentee bids will be recorded when you place them however they will not be activated until you establish credit with the Auction Company
5) Anyone may view the Live Auction Webcast as a guest however in order to bid you must register and establish credit with the Auction Company
6) Establish credit by calling the telephone number provided in the Terms and Conditions for that particular Auction. This must be done a minimum of 48 hrs before Auction its fast easy and confidential
7) When the Live Web Cast Auction starts you will see "LIVE NOW" in the date field below under the Live Auctions heading. Click on the description and you will be prompted to enter your user id and password. This will open the Live Bidder Applet that will display the auction as it takes place. You may bid by clicking any of the bid buttons with the amount of the bid in it. You will see your user id appear in the high bidder box above the bid buttons when you are high bidder. You may continue to bid until the lot is sold. The system has built in protection that will not allow you to bid when you are high bidder and will only allow you to bid again if you have been outbid. If you are a successful bidder you will be notified immediately following the auction.
8) Learn more about live webcase bidding by viewing the "webcast help" dropdown. You may also test your computer to verify it is configured properly for live bidding
