Go Big Orange!

Hello to all....sorry it has taken me a while to Blog, but since our return home, things have been quite hectic. I have to Thank Jerry, for keeping you informed, he has done a great job. He has told you the latest in the previous blog, so I will just say he is continuing to get better by the day. I was very surprised when I found out the removed the trachea. This is a big step in his recovery process. We are still waiting for his bed sore to heal...it is about 1/2 there. The wound vac has been great for speeding up the healing process. They are sitting him up daily now for about 2o min. as long as it does not effect the bed sore. He has had many visitors and this is very good for his recovery, he loves to see his friends. His nutrution levels were 17 and then started going down to 12, 7, 3 and then they started him on more protien and vitamins and this brought it back up to 21, which was better that in the beginning. The healing of the bed sore takes a lot of protien from the body and this was the reason for the drop in numbers the doctor said. The doctors last visit there was nothing negative, only positive progress now. Thank you all for the continued prayers, we know this is the reason for his healing, that he is completley in the Lord's hands. I can't wait bring him home, I miss him deeply. It will be a while still however. The picture is of Mark and my dad, The Cornett family brought him the OSU penent and glove you see on his hand. Mark put it on by himself and looked it over good and gave a wave to my dad, in hopes it would takeover the Longhorn Spirit my dad teases Mark about daily! You should have seen him, it was hilarious. Love you all....Coral and kids.
