(posting for Corale)
Mark has been stable all day and the eeg showed no evidence of seizures. There was normal brain activity however, in the area of the stroke, brain activity was weaker. (which is normal).
His CT scan had no change and no bleeding. He has been moving his eyes and bowing his chest on occasion. His arms and legs have been jumping on occasion and the doctors tell me that this is a normal process as the body starts to wake up.
Mark moved back to the fifth floor early this afternoon. They are monitoring him and would like him to be stable for several days before they consider the move back to Tulsa.
If all goes well, they will look at moving him late this week or early next week. Time will tell.
They have stopped the heparin and he is on lovanox and cumadin. When the cumadin becomes effective they will stop the lovenox. The lovenox was a bridge drug from Heparin to cumadin.
Dont be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God's answers, and remember to be thankful when they come. Colossians 4:2
