Nothing Like CAMO.....
He then opened a few small things and he was really happy, this made my day that his spirits were lifted and he could see happiness ahead! This is the most important thing is to see God restoring Mark's spirit to fight and see the bright future he has waiting with many people to help him along the way. God is faithful. Coral

Birthday Celebration
We have two birthdays to celebrate today - Mark and his sister Kim. The family plan is to visit Mark at the hospital and space our visits - not all go at the same time. Mark is still recovering from his most recent surgery. While not normally considered a very serious procedure, his health is still frail, and always causes a temporary setback. Later today we'll visit Mark and tell him Happy Birthday and that his OSU Cowboys had a big win yesterday. And that next year we'll have a different birthday party, in a different place. We know that he will be home with Corale, Chris, Joseph and Erica.

Birthdays
Mark underwent surgery yesterday morning to enable him to wear a disposable bag. The procedure went well, with no complications. It's just another in a long list of steps he's had to endure to regain his health. We were more than pleased with being able to discuss this with his surgeon. They were a little slow in getting started, because they had to prepare for any emergency, but no surprises this time. She was great at explaining the procedure. Mark was sleeping all of yesterday. A late visit last night let us know that he was still sleeping with the aid of pain medication. The plan as of now is to do surgery next Friday on his bed sore. It has been greatly reduced in size, and is healing slowly, but the plastic surgeon will be able to expedite this by doing internal repair, then closing the wound. Mark let it be known this morning that he was having pain, and they have given him medication for that, and is sleeping at this time. Getting this healed will enable him to get out of that bed, and sit in a chair by the window. Following that will be strengthening exercises, to get him started walking again. A day at a time - we're getting there -time and patience. David - very good friend of Mark - thanks for the support.
